The intent is to teach basic skills and provide the opportunity to enjoy playing an organized sport. To maximize participation, league rules will require every player to play, and emphasis will be on skill development, good sportsmanship, and team-building. Practices are one hour on Tuesdays until games start on Sept. 29th. Refunds will only be issued if requested at least 3 days prior to the start. Volunteers are a must to coach each of the teams. The Bedford Youth Co-Ed Volleyball League is open to all boys and girls grades 3-8 who would like to improve their volleyball skills. The purpose of the league is to teach skills, rules, and techniques, as well as have an opportunity to have fun playing games in an organized league. The leagues will be divided into two divisions: Grades 3-5 and Grades 6-8. Bedford residents have priority in being placed on a team. Space remaining is open to other communities depending on the number of participants, volunteer coaches, and facility space. Volunteers are a must to coach all teams.
