NewBASKETBALL Grades K-3 (Co-Ed)BasketballThe Bedford Youth Grades K-3 Co-Ed Basketball League is open to both boys & girls and will be divided by grades (Grades K-1 and Grades 2-3.) Players will learn basketball skills and play games in an organized league. Basket height will be adjusted for for this age group. Each team will have one practice a week for an hour in an elementary school gym. Games will be played on Saturdays. Bedford residents have priority in being placed on a team. Space remaining is open to other communities depending on the number of participants, volunteer coaches and facility space. Registrations are on a first-come basis. League size depends on the number of volunteer coaches. Coaches Needed: Volunteers are very valuable to the success of this league. Please consider coaching or assist coaching a team. If you or someone you know would like to help, please complete the coaching portion when registering your child. Deadline to register: October 23rd or until rosters are full. Register Early! NewCROSS COUNTRY CONDITIONING - COED Grades K-6Cross CountryThis program is designed to let kids try out the sport while learning tips on stretches and warmups, strengthening and condition, setting goals and improving their overall endurance and run times. Grades K-3 and 4-6 will have one-hour practices at 6:00 p.m. on Mondays and Thursdays beginning Sept.14th.Timed runs will be on Thursdays beginning on Sept. 24th. Space remaining is open to other communities depending on the number of participants, volunteer coaches, and facility space. Volunteers are a must to coach all teams.
